Find out some great real facts about the woman behind the brand, "Estee Lauder".

Hello Inquisitive beauties!

Today I'd like to give you a little history about the legend which is Mrs. Estee Lauder.

Estee Lauder started her company in 1946 with just four cosmetic products and a dream to take women's beauty to another level. Josephine Esther Mentzer (Estee Lauder's birth given name) was raised in Queens, New York. She developed a love for beauty and beauty products when an uncle came to visit her family and he created a skin cream. Estee was apparently swept away with the idea of making people beautiful because all through her young adult life she worked in numerous beauty professions.
